How to Stay Under the Weight Limit
Separate heavy debris
Keep concrete, dirt, and brick separate from general waste. Ask about a dedicated heavy-debris container.
Cover during rain
Wet debris can add hundreds of pounds. A tarp prevents water from increasing your load weight.
Mix light and heavy
If you must include some heavy items, mix them with lighter materials like wood and cardboard.

How do I know how much my load will weigh?

Can I put concrete in a dumpster?
Yes, but concrete is very heavy — about 2,000 lbs per cubic yard. For large concrete loads, contact us to discuss your options.
How can I keep weight costs down?
